Tips For Cleaner and Longer Lasting Candles
Follow these simple candle care tips to get the most out of your new candle and keep it burning safely and cleanly in your home.
CANDLE TIP # 1
Trim Your Wick
Before lighting your candle, always trim the wick to 1/4 inch to ensure a controlled, clean flame. This will prevent soot release and build-up in your candle and also helps your candle last longer!
CANDLE TIP # 2
Full Melt Pool
Allow your candle to melt evenly across the container to prevent wax tunnelling and to get the best fragrance release from your candle. It usually takes 2-3 hours of burning to create a full melt-pool.
CANDLE TIP # 3
Safety First
Do not burn a candle for longer than 4 hours at a time to reduce the risk of fire. Always keep a burning candle within sight and keep far away from flammable objects. Ensure burning candles are out-of-reach from both children and pets.
Finished burning your favorite candle?
There are easy ways to remove the leftover wax from candle jars:
1. Pop your 12oz vessel with remaining wax into the freezer for 2-3 hours
2. Take the vessel out and gentle start rotaing the block of wax clockwise with your thumbs on either side of the wick. This breaks the seal on the bottom of the vessel.
3. Turn the vessel over, gentling tapping the bottom to get the remaining wax to fully dislodge.
4. Clean vessel with damp rag to get rid of any remaiing residue. Let vessel defrost from freezer fully.
5. Take you 'pop-in' 12oz refill and place in vessel, gently pushing on the top to adhere it to the bottom of the vessel.
6. Enjoy your new scent and your fav color vessel!
